Respected New Zealand performer and international star John Rowles hit the heights in the late 60s, 70s and 80s with a string of successful songs such as 'If I Only Had Time', 'Hush Not a Word To Mary' and the delightful 'Cheryl Moana Marie'. Compared favourably to fellow crooners Engelbert Humperdinck and Tom Jones, Rowles' was a regular visitor to Australian shores.
