In the Boran family estate in Bursa live Mrs. Esma and her four sons: Faruk, Fikret, Osman and Murat. Süreyya lives with her aunt in Istanbul and makes a living from odd jobs playing and singing. Fate brings together Süreyya and wealthy Faruk.

Esma wants Faruk to underestimate his trip to Istanbul and stay at home longer. Faruk is courting Süreyya and is refused, while Esma designates İpek as a bride without his knowledge. Süreyya responds to a work order on Bursa.

It turns out that Faruk organized a fictitious event at the hotel so that Süreyya would come there and they could get to know each other. Upon their return to town, Ömer waits for Süreyya in front of her door, stabs Faruk and runs away. An angry Esma tries to keep Süreyya away from her son.

Faruk proposes to Süreyya in marriage. Esma invites İpek and her parents to close the wedding matter. Faruk surprises everyone when he comes with Süreyya. Esma's rage causes Süreyya to flee back to Istanbul, but Faruk stops her.

After the embarrassing evening at the mansion, Esma promises İpek that she will marry Faruk anyway. Faruk persuades Süreyya to marry him in a flash wedding without notifying his mother. İpek tears off the cloak that Esma gave her.

Faruk brings Süreyya to the mansion and Esma responds angrily. Süreyya is trying to take a step towards her, but in vain. Faruk's brothers meet with Süreyya. Esma is trying to make things difficult for Süreyya through old customs.

Süreyya tries to get used to the customs of the estate despite the difficulty. Esma asks for İpek's hand for Fikret. Ömer breaks into Aunt Senem's house and wants to know where Süreyya is. Senem goes to Bursa to the house of Süreyya and Ömer following her.

Süreyya prepares pancakes and serves to the family at breakfast, which provokes Esma's anger. The family goes to ask for İpek's hand for Fikret, who has been in love with her for years. Ömer continues to follow Süreyya.

The family goes out to buy jewelry and wedding dresses, and Senem sees Ömer. Süreyya confronts him and he promises to turn himself in. Süreyya's friends celebrate with her at a bachelorette party. Fikret gets drunk and misses his fiancée's henna night.

The Boran family is preparing for a double wedding: Faruk and Süreyya, and Fikret and İpek. In the evening, Henna Süreyya takes the stage and sings, and Faruk is angry with her. The lavish wedding is interrupted in the middle when Ömer breaks into the hall and threatens to shoot.

After the wedding is destroyed, the whole family returns to the estate. Faruk goes to the police station to meet the suspect. İpek continues to behave strangely towards her husband. The governor and the commissioner pay a courtesy visit to the Boran family.

İpek continues to make excuses and avoid her husband Fikret. Faruk quarreled with Süreyya for not telling him that she had met Ömer before the wedding. Esma scolds İpek for exposing family affairs to strangers.

Faruk and Süreyya in a fierce quarrel. Esma discovers the cake Nurgül baked for Fikret's birthday and humiliates her for it. When a journalist brings her photos of her daughter-in-law hanging out in a pub, she decides to act and rings the lawyer.

Esma prepares a divorce agreement for Faruk and Süreyya, and asks the lawyer to speak with Süreyya, ostensibly on behalf of Faruk. Dilara decides to stay in Bursa and open the music school. Süreyya demands that Faruk be held accountable for the agreement.

İpek treats maids with dominion. A man vows to avenge his father's revenge. Faruk and Süreyya reconcile, and he offers her to open the music school she and Dilara dreamed of. They return to Bursa for the memorial service of his father, Fevzi.

Dr. Begüm, Faruk's beloved from the past, returns from England and rents the apartment Faruk had previously bought her. Adem opens a competing transportation company with the Boran family's company. Reyhan comes to Fevzi's memorial, and her sister Kıymet meets her.

Adem Sezgin turns out not only to be a neighbor of the Boran family but also as an unexpected business competitor. Reyhan and Adem come for a meal at the Boran estate. Akif informs Faruk that Adem unexpectedly entered the tender they were preparing to win. Faruk suspects a man.

Nazif begins to behave suspiciously and Gülistan fears that he is cheating on her. Esma wants Fikret and İpek to go on vacation, so that they can fulfill the marriage. Süreyya discovers that she is pregnant. A man quits the tender to get Fikret to trust him.

Faruk and Fikret again quarrel because Fikret is doing business with Adem, whom Faruk suspects of his motives. Esma sends Fikret and his wife on vacation so they can spend time together. Süreyya reveals to Faruk that she is pregnant, he is happy. Esma finds it hard to hide her anger.

Faruk is thrilled with the news and takes Süreyya for an ultrasound. When they return, Süreyya confronts Esma, who decides to take revenge and pretends to have collapsed. Everyone is anxious about her health. Fikret is determined to realize his marriage to İpek.

The injured İpek refuses to speak with her husband after their return to the mansion. Gülistan overhears Süreyya tell her aunt that Esma fell after she confronted her. It turns out that although the company won the tender, the land was sold to another person. The brothers quarrel.

Kıymet visits Reyhan, Esma hears about it and gets angry. Esma tells Faruk that Süreyya opens a music school before Süreyya tells him, Faruk is angry with his wife and they fight. Faruk realizes that a person is involved in the business and confronts him.

Süreyya is frightened by the gun she found in the closet and Faruk decides to take it to the company for storage. Shots are fired at a man after his fight with Faruk, and he complains about Faruk to the police. Esma threatens Reyhan. Dilara interrogates Adem.

Begüm's son finds it difficult to adapt to Bursa. Faruk is released from the police station and asks the commander to find out about Adem Sezgin. Süreyya encounters Begüm near the beach and tells her about what she went through with Faruk. It turns out that a person hides his true past.

Murat brings Zeynep to dinner at the mansion and Esma is outraged. Nurgül discovers that Bade was sleeping with Murat, and Esma hears them talking. Mehmet extorts money from Senem and threatens to tell Süreyya and Esma that she is the one who caused the death of Süreyya's parents.
