After years in a juvenile detention center, Spira returns to his neighborhood, but gentrification and demolition excavators are taking hold. His friends Giovani and Chandi are happy to see him again, unlike gang boss Kikas, whose car Spira burned in a fit of aimless rage, before being sent to prison. As the bulldozers begin to tear down the neighborhood, everyone tries to hold on to their dreams.
