Bryan and Michael Voltaggio welcome eight of America's most-promising young chefs to battle it out for a place on each brother's team to impress guest judge Chef Eric Adjepong. Then Bryan and Michael suit up for an epic brother vs. brother battle.

Team Michael and Team Bryan create elaborate and inventive egg dishes for Chef Esther Choi to judge. Then Michael and Bryan Voltaggio create the impossible in a sauce battle that will take the chefs down to the wire and decide the fate of their teams.

The competing chefs build cohesive menus as they battle for immunity and the secret advantage in the second challenge. Chef Cliff Crooks judges as Team Michael battles to stay alive and keep Team Bryan from a total nose-to-tail takeover.

Each competing chef must cook twice as hard to avoid being voted into the second challenge. Restaurateur Einat Admony judges a tense face-off between two of the strongest chefs, and either Bryan or Michael can only save one.

Team Bryan and Team Michael must deliver one perfect bite to guest judge Chef Ilan Hall. When the dust settles, Bryan and Michael Voltaggio enter into their final battle to see which chef from their teams gets the chance to compete in the finale.

In the epic three-course challenge to end it all, Michael and Bryan Voltaggio join forces with the two finalists to create an unforgettable meal for judge Alex Guarnaschelli. The series champion is crowned and gets to take over a Voltaggio restaurant.
