On the day of her marriage, Zeenat Jahan finds that her soon to be husband is Sikander Mirza, a wealthy nawab, and not Yusuf, the man she is in love with. In a state of despair, she leaves her home to find Yusuf but in vain. However, fate has other plans for her and a visit to the dargah ends up in a brothel.
