The Deliverance of Elaine

Twenty years after her mother was killed and her father crippled by a shotgun-wielding intruder, Elaine Hodges (Mare Winningham, "St. Elmo's Fire") still lives with her father in her childhood home. Elaine begins a correspondence with a prison inmate (Chris Cooper, "August: Osage County"), but is shocked when the convict is paroled and comes to live in her town.
