After doing three years hard time, Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER) is abruptly released from Federal Prison and transferred to a halfway house in New York City. Meanwhile, Andy (JUSTIN KIRK), Silas (HUNTER PARRISH), Shane (ALEXANDER GOULD) and Doug (KEVIN NEALON), who have all spent the last three years in Copenhagen, are informed by Jill Price-Gray (JENNIFER JASON LEIGH) of Nancy's release.

Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER) tries to get her life back on track in the big bad world of New York City. But when Andy (JUSTIN KIRK) and Shane (ALEXANDER GOULD) show up on Nancy's doorstep unexpectedly, Nancy is thrown for a loop. Meanwhile, Silas (HUNTER PARRISH) sets out to begin a modeling career, and Doug (KEVIN NEALON) looks up an old friend.

Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER), struggling to mix into the ranks of the halfway house, has an unexpected bomb dropped on her by Jill (JENNIFER JASON LEIGH). Meanwhile, Andy (JUSTIN KIRK) and Shane (ALEXANDER GOULD) lock down a place to live. Silas (HUNTER PARRISH) scores a modeling gig. Down on Wall Street, Doug (KEVIN NEALON) is offered the job of his dreams

Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER) pursues a job at the office where DOUG (KEVIN NEALON) works, while ANDY (JUSTIN KIRK) has found himself in a romantic situation that just might be over his head. At the loft, SHANE (ALEXANDER GOULD) tries to set up house, while SILAS (HUNTER PARRISH) attempts a partnership with Nancy.

With the help from her lawyer and Silas (HUNTER PARRISH), Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER) returns to California to continue her custody battle against Jill. Meanwhile, Andy's (JUSTIN KIRK) polyamorous relationship takes a bizarre turn. Shane decides to give college a trying by enrolling in classes. Back on Wall Street, Doug (KEVIN NEALON) must make due without Nancy around.

Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER) confronts an old friend, leaving Silas (HUNTER PARRISH) caught in the crossfire. Back at the loft, Andy (JUSTIN KIRK) comes up with a new business venture, and turns to Shane (ALEXANDER GOULD) and Doug (KEVIN NEALON) for help.

Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER) sells pot at the hedge fund company softball game while Doug (KEVIN NEALON) plays on the field. Meanwhile, Andy (JUSTIN KIRK) has the grand opening of his new bike shop, while Silas (JUSTIN KIRK) begins to distribute pot out the back room. Shane (ALEXANDER GOULD) is offered an internship with a local police detective.

When Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER) is visited by her ex-cell mate Zoya (OLGA SOSNOVSKA), things get complicated with her supplier Demetri (PABLO SCHREIBER). Meanwhile, Andy (JUSTIN KIRK) and Silas (HUNTER PARRISH) battle over the use of Andy's bike shop, while Shane (ALEXANDER GOULD) gets an education he never expected.

Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER) and Andy (JUSTIN KIRK) try to fight off Zoya (OLGA SOSNOVSKA) as she attempts to take over the bike shop. Meanwhile, some local rival dealers approach Silas (HUNTER PARRISH), and Shane (ALEXANDER GOULD) offers Nancy help with her competition. Back on Wall Street, Doug (KEVIN NEALON) must deal with the SEC.

Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER), Andy (JUSTIN KIRK) and Silas (HUNTER PARRISH) attempt to strike back at Emma (MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG) after she deals them a bad business blow. Meanwhile, Doug (KEVIN NEALON) has to keep his hedge fund up and running despite an unexpected set back, and Shane ends up a lot closer to the law than what he expected to be...

In an attempt to further expand her business, Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER) follows Doug (KEVIN NEALON) and Andy (JUSTIN KIRK) to East Hamptons for the weekend. Meanwhile, Silas (HUNTER PARRISH) tries to win Emma (MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG) back after having a rough business fallout, and Detective Ouellette (MICHAEL HARNEY) brings Shane (ALEXANDER GOULD) along on a drug bust.

Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER) and Silas (HUNTER PARRISH) face off over who controls their drug business, while Andy (JUSTIN KIRK) tries to mediate. Meanwhile, Shane (ALEXANDER GOULD) goes to lengths to win back Detective Ouellette's (MICHAEL HARNEY) trust, while Doug (KEVIN NEALON) tries to keep the SEC distracted from his hedge fund's illegal activities.

Silas (HUNTER PARRISH) betrays Nancy (MARY-LOUISE PARKER), while Shane (ALEXANDER GOULD) makes one last attempt to protect Nancy from Ouellette (MICHAEL HARNEY). Back on Wall Street, Doug (KEVIN NEALON) and Whit (BRUCE NOZICK) come up with a plan to keep the hedge fund alive
