Arctic Waters

The village of Veidnes, Norway, needs new blood if it's going to remain a viable community. Svenne Lyder has taken it upon himself to revitalize his home, bring in new inhabitants and find crew members for the idle fishing fleet.

After a disastrous first time out, Patrick wants to prove that he can handle the Barents Sea. Anders has some reservations about taking him on. Tito is now paired with Matz, and hopes he can find his sea legs as they fish for cod.

As cod season continues, big catches have been elusive, and Svenne is taking a big risk as he switches from lines to nets. Kirill ventures farther out than normal in search of fish, while Patrick's struggles with Anders continue.

Just when things seem to be improving, Anders and Patrick hit another snag. Tito is out at sea when his wife starts having contractions, and equipment problems make it hard for Svenne and Nick to haul in their catch.

Strong storms and heavy seas have the entire fleet stuck in port, but Anders and Patrick set out anyway. David and Kirill try to find calmer waters where they can set their nets, while Tito and his wife greet their new baby.

The fleet has one last trip before the end of cod season, and the new fishermen's fate is on the line. Patrick finally has a big payday, and Tito is back to work after his son's birth. Kirill wants to finish the season strong.
