Determined to find success in Gospel music despite her strained relationship with her famous father, the daughter of a Gospel Legend reunites with gospel music elite and long-time friends, to make a name for herself in the music business.

Bree struggles to accept criticism from the group, Elijah's music video shoot takes an unexpected turn, and after hearing a rumor tensions rise between Tasha and Shana. In a feeble attempt to help Bree, Elijah manages to make things worse.

With her estranged husband coming into town, Tasha struggles with her desire to reconcile, and attempts to woo him back by appealing to his baser instincts. Meanwhile, Bree agrees to trust Elijah, who has offered to direct a photoshoot for her.

Tasha confides in her friends about her disastrous date night with her husband, which sparks a fight with Elijah. Bree surprises the group by opening up about her secret past. Bree, Eljiah and J Brooks host a surprise baby shower for Shana.

Bree is back but struggling to connect with her father & her music. She attempts to get back to her roots and enlists the help of her friends. With her showcase fast approaching she has to prove she has what it takes to make it in the industry.

Elijah shows up to Tasha's birthday with a peace offering. Bree meets with Dorinda Clarke to get advice about her upcoming performance. Tasha opens up to her dad about problems in her marriage. Elijah and Shana worry Bree is unprepared.
