Good Cop

Constable Rocksavage is having a very bad day. After meeting his estranged girlfriend Cassandra and daughter Libby, and realising what he lost, he is confronted by vicious thug Noel Finch in a café. It seemed like things couldn't get any worse, but when he later discovered that Finch and his gang had murdered his partner constable Andy Stockwell, Rocksavage is pushed over the edge.

Noel Finch is dead and PC Rocksavage receives phone calls from Finch's associate, Callum Rose, who knows what Rocksavage did. He hits the policeman with a blackmail demand for £100,000. Rose begins to follow Rocksavage, discovering where both his estranged girlfriend and current girlfriend live, and putting Rocksavage under severe pressure.

Rocksavage secretly takes photos of Cassandra and her new boyfriend, which along with reading a eulogy at Andy's funeral cause him great pain. Two possible witnesses to the murder of Callum Rose are interviewed but the evidence is inconclusive. One, Bradley Pearson, becomes involved in a domestic row leading to a siege concluded by Rocksavage's intervention.

Rocksavage breaks into Jonjo Heinz's house intending to kill him, but the police arrive to raid the property, forcing Rocksavage to flee. Heinz is arrested for Stockwell's murder, but there is insufficient evidence to charge him, and he is instead charged with a drugs offense. Rocksavage's knowledge of the arrest draws suspicion from DCI Costello.
