Eli, a convicted serial rapist, is released from jail and makes an effort to put his troubled past behind him. He tries to jump-start a new life in a small, tightly knit community, but, before long, the residents learn about their, by all other accounts, well-adjusted new neighbor. Aghast and outraged, the town bands together to dispense their own variety of justice... with grim repercussions.
