DRAMAtical Murder

Aoba, who lives a pretty ordinary life, works at the junk shop "Mediocrity." The manager asks him to make a delivery one day, but he finds out that there's nothing at the address he was supposed to deliver it to. It was then that Aoba was consumed by light and he was within a mysterious world.

During the battle, it seemed that Aoba had lost his strength. However, they are saved by an unknown force, and when they wake up, they are back in front of Mediocrity. That night, Aoba hears about someone randomly challenging people to Rhyme from Koujaku. He finds out the next day that the delivery he was asked to make was indeed a trick. Feeling uneasy about someone seemingly targeting him, ...

After meeting Clear, who did nothing but weird things, Aoba heads home from his shift at Mediocrity. Once he gets home, he finds someone covered in piercings in his room. He challenges Aoba to another round of Rhyme. Suddenly, Koujaku and Clear also show up, all causing a ruckus until Aoba's grandmother, Tae, shows up and breaks them all. The next day, Aoba gets a call...

Aoba is relieved to find out that Tae is all right. However, he has no time to relax, as he gets a call from Koujaku, who tells him that Mizuki is missing. He hurries to where Koujaku is, and finds that Mizuki's tag is covered up with a different tag as well as covered in blood. As Aoba and Koujaku are trying to figure out where Mizuki went, Noiz appears in front of them again and starts figh...

Aoba is attacked by an unknown being, and wakes up in a place he doesn't know. In order to find Tae who had disappeared, a mysterious giant man known as Mink offers to make a deal with Aoba. Clear and Koujaku were worried about not being able to reach Aoba and meet up with him and soon, Noiz joins them as well. They then all head up to the northern district and...

Aoba and the others are able to successfully save Tae and Mizuki. Tae then tells Aoba and the others about what had happened, and some truths about Toue Konzern and Platinum Jail. They make plans to infiltrate Platinum Jail, but hold off for the moment, due to Tae's request. Later on that night, Tae reveals a shocking truth about him...

Aoba and Koujaku make it into the center of Platinum Jail, and they soon realize that things aren't as they seem. As they are trying to retrieve information, Koujaku suddenly runs off like he's chasing something. Aoba heads into a club and suddenly loses consciousness. When he wakes up, he sees a mysterious man in a blue kimono...

Aoba uses his Scrap powers to dive into Koujaku's mind and free of his torturous past. That night, Aoba runs into Noiz. Noiz is his usual emotionless self and Aoba tells him that he had lost part of his memory. Meanwhile, a mysterious shadow creeps up on the two...

Aoba and Noiz are attacked by more of Toue's men when they are saved by Clear. Clear sees that Aoba is hurt and goes after the men that hurt Aoba, but eventually gets hurt himself. They head back to the inn to treat Clear's wounds, and Clear finally reluctantly takes off his mask. The two eventually end up heading to the Oval Tower and...

Aoba takes the badly injured Clear back to the inn. Aoba realizes that Toue has his eye on him, and he had ended up involving everyone around him. He was sitting in his room trying to figure out how not to involve anyone around him anymore, when Mink arrives. Aoba goes with Mink to Oval Tower to stop Toue but...

Aoba and Mink head further into Oval Tower and find data on Toue's experiments. Aoba finds out that Mink means to kill Toue, but before he can do anything, they end up being chased and have to seperate. Suddenly, Sei appears in front of Aoba. He tells Aoba that he's been waiting to meet him... but who is he?

As Aoba is bitten by Ren, Ren's memories flow into him. Aoba feels Ren inside of him, and uses Scrap on himself... finding a very battered Ren. Ren then tells Aoba that he is a force that was created to stop Aoba if he ever got out of control, and...
