The Belle of New York (1952)

The Belle of New York is a romantic musical comedy about a rich playboy Charlie Hill, played by the legendary Fred Astaire, who very much falls in love with a girl called Angela Bonfils (Vera Ellen), so much in love that he can walk on air. She is a mission house worker in the Bowery. He promises to reform his dissolute life, even trying to do an honest day's work.
