The recruits learn to stop relying on others and to cook for themselves when they make their own Chinese takeout. Later, Ron Ben-Israel ("Sweet Genius") joins the recruits in the kitchen as they attempt to bake cakes.

The six remaining recruits offer samples of their cooking to shoppers at a grocery store. Later, they host a party for large, hairy, scary bikers.

The four recruits get a surprise: they get to cook for their loved ones.
