Battle of the Worlds: Classic Science Fiction Movie

A rogue planet enters the solar system. Professor Benson (Claude Rains, Lawrence of Arabia) predicts that the planet will pass by Earth and is not believed. Scientists watch in wonder as it passes Earth and then takes up orbit. They conclude that it is in fact an alien vessel sent to Earth to invade. The race is on to destroy the huge UFO.
