Panfilov's 28 Men

One of the little-known battles of World War II took place on the Eastern Front between Nazi Germany and Russia. Under the command of General Ivan Panfilov, a small brigade of 28 Soviet soldiers stood united in a last-ditch effort to defend Moscow. Facing inevitable defeat, they awaited a column of German Panzer tanks. Their wits and courage would protect the Motherland against impossible odds.
