Bill Ryan (Will Sasso) and Jo Rodriguez (Christina Vidal Mitchell) have a lot on their plate - especially now that Bill's mother Sandy (Jane Curtin) is living with them.

After hearing Chuy and Brie brag about their weekly date nights, Bill and Jo worry that the romance has gone out of their marriage.

After Lulu wins a trophy at her soccer game, Emily wonders why she can't have one, too. When Sandy buys her a hideous purse, Jo struggles to tell her how she feels about it.

Worried that her niece is missing out on important childhood experiences, Jo promises to help her loosen up. When Bill learns about Sandy's first husband, he decides to get them back together.
