Models of the Runway

Sixteen new models compete in the Season 2 opener of the reality companion piece to 'Project Runway.' The ladies adapt to living in their new digs in New York City, then learn how to walk the walk from a runway coach - but egos soon collide.

After posing on the runway wearing party looks spun from burlap potato sacks, the models attend an industry event wearing their burlap garb, yet interpersonal cracks begin to develop between the older models and their younger peers.

The models pose in high-end signature looks, setting up post-runway dramas. Later, some models bond over beers at a bar; inexperienced Megan sets out to learn about the modeling business; and Sophia's "difficult" disposition becomes an issue.

The ladies teach the modeling craft to an inspirational group of women who've been impacted by heart disease. Later, the posers participate in a workout under the guidance of exercise guru David Kirsch; Sarah and Kasey forge a deeper bond; and Alexis begins to rub some models the wrong way.

The models participate in a photo shoot overseen by a high-profile fashion magazine's editor-in-chief. But one poser's overly self-confident swagger rubs the other ladies the wrong way.

The models are paired up with young girls, to whom they must give catwalk tips before the duos march down the runway wearing coordinating outfits. Later, the posers and the little lasses enjoy a picnic together in Central Park; and untidiness in the models' living quarters becomes an issue.

The models must display their fashion mettle when they slip into something a little more uncomfortable: clothes made from unconventional materials.

The models display clothes inspired by the four natural elements, with one look creating hair-raising dramas. Meanwhile, Holly visits a new agency. Later, the runway walkers, as always, worry about the impending elimination session.

The ladies must deal with a surprising development when the designers select their models.

The models pose in clothes spun from digitally printed fabric. Later, Valeria contemplates leaving the competition in favor of a high-profile modeling job; and the models take photos of one another on the streets of Manhattan.

There's not much model behavior when tensions intensify between Brandise and Brittany. Later, an eliminated model returns to the competition after another poser quits; and a hairstylist gives hair flair to the contestants.

After the models sport outfits inspired by the circus, big-top dramas crop up involving the feuding Brandise and Brittany. Later, one model is sent packing.
