Sir Percy Blakeney, the handsome, richest, most idle fop in England is increasingly absent from his beautiful wife Marguerite St Just. Only a few sworn to secrecy know the truth. Sir Percy is away in France, rescuing the victims of the Terror, aided by a posse of English gentlemen - one to command, nineteen to obey. The idle fop is the Scarlet Pimpernel.
