West End Salvage

The West End Salvage team is commissioned to make a custom bar for an ultimate Nebraska football fan. They use a vintage cornhusker to create a one-of-a-kind piece. In addition, they make two unique lamps with recycled pieces.

Don's West End Salvage crew is hired by a local brewery to make tables for a bike-themed beer garden using deconstructed bicycles. On a chance, the guys buy an old boat, cut it in half, turn it into a bench and hope it sells.

The West End Salvage team uses ingenuity by creating an expanding table to solve a couple's kitchen seating problem. Don sees a wine holder in old metal wheels but questions the wisdom of turning a jukebox into a TV stand.

When clients come to the shop with a vintage trunk, Don suggests turning the family heirloom into a six-foot-high shelving unit. Although they are hesitant at first, the owners agree, and the guys get busy.

After meeting with clients who run a yoga studio out of their downtown loft, Don and Hal decide to create a multi-functional dividing screen and desk made of organ pipes. They only have so many on hand, so they harvest the rest from a closed church.

After salvaging a round window from a 100-year-old home, Don tasks Rex with turning it into a coffee table. The guys also source some chicken coops to use as the foundation for a clients sewing desk and convert a phone booth into a wine display.

Don gets the deal of a lifetime when a loyal customer drops by with an old broken piano. The customer wants Don to create a coffee table from the top of the instrument, and in return, Don gets to keep the rest of the piece.

The West End Salvage team builds a dining room table for a family of six using 300-year-old windows and shutters. Later, Hal and Don visit a Model-T wrecking company that hasn't been open to the public for over 50 years.

The West End Salvage team creates custom pieces from a metal cart, an old saw blade and more from a local foundry that's liquidating its out-of-date stock.

The West End Salvage team repurposes old doors found on their fourth floor to build a headboard and a coffee table.
