The Forsaken Westerns

Clint Eastwood's first western. After years of war Tom Jeffords (Rhodes Reason), General Oliver Otis Howard (John Howard) and Cochise (Richard Gaines) work to re-establish peace between the Settlers and the Apaches. Several people on both sides express concern of danger and trickery including Lt. Wilson (Clint Eastwood).

Wild Bill Elliott is a rancher. The town needs a Marshal and they want Bill to take the job, but Bill is reluctant to do so because he has friends that ride the outlaw trail. Dub Cannonball Taylor is Bill's Sidekick bringing law and order to the old west in this rare pilot.

Joe Thornton (King Donovan) is a newspaper man who always seems to run a day late to be the first to get a thrilling western story. Willie Magill (John Smith) is a simple hard working man who can't seem to keep a job very long. Joe devises a plan to make both of their lives more exciting.

Critter Calhoun (Peter Palmer) guides some men through dangerous territory to the mission in Taos. The pilot episode of a suggested TV series titled Mountain Man created around 1959 but never released for public viewing until now.

Johnny Wells, a soldier (Harry Harvey Jr.) is accused of cowardice in battle by Vincent Russo (Robert Knapp) and Capt. Shank Adams (John Pickard) has to find out if it is the truth or a lie made up because of personal feelings between the two troopers. This is an episode of the almost completely lost series Boots and Saddles. Only a few of the original 39 productions are still known to exist.

Unaired TV pilot. Charles Russell (Fess Parker) and Tracey Blue (Paul Carr) witness a stagecoach holdup. Putting them in danger. Russell also paints and woos beautiful (Beverly Garland). Windy is (Jay C. Flippen). By Borden Chase who also wrote screenplays and stories including Red River, Winchester 73, Bend of the River, Night Passage, The Far Country, Backlash, Vera Cruz, The Man from Colorado.

Major Jim Curtis (Sterling Hayden) must have steel nerves to do a waiting game with the Apaches and an Iron will to be able to deal with his men and their torment. His wife Ruth Curtis (Barbara Billingsley) has her own plan to help.

This is Burt Reynolds first appearance in a western. A couple of swindlers Adam and Lorrie (Burt Reynolds) and (Whitney Blake) are out to snatch away some land from the Pony Express and it's up to Brett Clark (Grant Sullivan) and Young Donovan (Don Dorrell) to catch them. This is an episode of the almost completely lost TV western series Pony Express.
