In the fourth season premiere, Walt (ROBERT TAYLOR) is out for revenge – and Henry's out to stop him. Cady expresses her concerns about an increasingly erratic Branch to Walt.

While Walt tries to tries to prove Branch’s death a murder, he also investigates a dead man at an old Japanese internment camp. Meanwhile, Henry stands up for a woman on the Rez.

Things come to a head, when Nighthorse accuses Walt of shooting at him and Cady learns of his business with Barlow Connally – leading to a confrontation between Walt and Barlow.

After a voluntary leave of absence, Walt returns to work to find that Vic (KATEE SACKHOFF) has brought in a new deputy. Meanwhile, Henry intervenes in a domestic dispute on the Rez.

While Walt interviews candidates for the deputy position, he’s drawn into a case involving stolen pharmaceuticals and a veterans support group, run by a psychiatrist (ALLY WALKER).

When a Native woman (JULIA JONES) is assaulted on the Rez by oil rig workers, both Mathias & Walt find themselves unable to pursue the suspects due to issues of jurisdiction.

Walt investigates a deadly highway robbery, while Mathias grants Cady access to old, neglected legal cases on the Rez. Meanwhile, Walt confides to a surprising person.

When one of Gab Langton’s attackers is found dead on an oil rig site, Walt suspects foul play…and Cady (CASSIDY FREEMAN) suspects Henry (LOU DIAMOND PHILLIPS).

Walt deals with the fallout of the shooting and takes heat for the arrest of an oil worker, while Henry and Gab go on the run.

In the fourth season finale, Walt finds himself under pressure from all sides as Walker Browning (CALLUM KEITH RENNIE) is on the war path to find Gab and have Henry arrested.
