Kate wants to live like a teenager again, have no responsibilities, go out, get trashed - fuelled by the thought that she might have killed Brian.

Kate, in a typically teenage way, becomes enraged about the state of the world and what's been going on while she's been asleep.

Kate is embarking on a new relationship with Dexter much to the chagrin of his mother Amanda.

Kate decides that she has to act - she doesn't want to waste her life by being too cowardly to say how she feels.. she wants to tell Pete that she's still in love with him.

Terrified by the notion that she may have been responsible for Brian's death, Kate decides to run away from her past and set up a new life abroad.
