Macy, a down-on-her-luck writer, is in need of a new place to live. A chance encounter with a friendly stranger in a coffee shop leads her to an ideal house, however she soon discovers her new landlord, Katie, is not what she seems. Katie is an eccentric and obsessive woman who becomes fixated on Macy, and her behavior quickly turns from friendly to disturbing.
