After a car-crash, photographer Jinx Kingsley wakes from a coma under the care of eminent neuro-psychiatrist Dr Protheroe. It appears to have been a failed suicide attempt prompted by her fiancés elopement with Jinx's best friend, Meg. But with the discovery of the bodies of Leo and Meg, brutally murdered, Jinx becomes prime suspect.
