Angelo is now wealthy, but suspicions about him continue. John and Kathryn consider a run for public office. Bay faces the Student Honor Board after accusations of cheating, and Daphne's distraction with Jeff causes trouble.

Regina is shocked when Angelo tells her about Lana and the baby. Bay discovers the transition to Carlton is not easy. Emmett sees something from Nikki's past that makes Toby question who this girl is.

Bay finds herself on the wrong end of Natalie's wrath. Kathryn possibly hurts John's campaign during a radio interview. Regina gets bad news about her health. Toby and Lana bond.

Looking to give Bay an opportunity to meet the mother of her soon-to-be-born half-sister, Toby invites Lana to dinner. Meanwhile, Daphne tries to help Travis with his problems at home.

When news of the school's closing spreads throughout campus, Daphne leads the students of Carlton School for the Deaf in arranging a demonstration to take place on the eve of the "Romeo and Juliet" play.

Regina returns from rehab and tries to transition back to life at the Kennish house. Daphne has grown closer to the Kennish family and this new family dynamic does not sit well with Regina. Bay runs into Ty.

After a rocky start, Bay and Ty get to know each other again. Both Toby and Travis approach John about a manager position at the car wash. Kathryn and Daphne have a hard time with Bay's request to stay with Regina.

Bay is upset that Toby is giving up music and gets him a gig to reignite his love for music, and Bay and Daphne finally begin to make up.

The politics of being a senator's wife are put to the test when Kathryn has an uncomfortable encounter. Daphne gets mixed signals from Jace and Bay learns more about Mary Beth and Ty.
