The series follows the adventures of Piggley Winks, a spunky eight-year-old pig, and his friends Dannan the Duck and Ferny the Bull on Raloo Farm in 1950’s Ireland, and “Jakers!” is Piggley’s oft-used Irish expression of amazement and delight.
