This cult tale is a part re-telling of the epic poem Beowulf, told from the perspective of the great monster, Grendel. Revisionist in part, it presents the other side of the story-the tale of a monster desperate to find meaning in life. Encountering a dragon, Grendel must face the possibility that his sole purpose in life is to terrify humanity and leave behind a legacy of destruction and evil.
