In the Season One premiere, Michelle Macabee waits for the Expo Train in Los Angeles late at night and unexpectedly meets Gus,a handsome young man she finds an almost instant connection with.

Three months later. Michelle drives down Venice Boulevard with Gus and after he reveals one secret after another, the direction of their bumpy conversation takes many swerves.

Marion, Michelle's pet loss therapist, gets Michelle to accept that she's in the midst of a mid-life crisis after her dog of fifteen years died and she convinces Michelle that she should take full advantage of Gus...but only sexually.

In Spanish with English subtitles. An aside with Gus as he devours his burger and fries at and talks to himself about the roller coaster ride he's on following his break-up with Michelle.

Michelle's best friend, Nicole, gets a thorough lesson on menopause. Nicole admits to relapsing with her addiction problem and tells Michelle that if she doesn't use Gus for sex, she will.

Gus meets Michelle at a park after Michelle contacted him. Michelle confesses that she still wants to spend time with Gus, and Gus tells Michelle that he wants to live with her. He gives her one week to think about it.

Over cocktails, Nicole and Alex, another friend of Michelle's from Amazon, turn Michelle onto a hot stud from an online cougar dating site, but Michelle's affection for Gus gets in the way. Later, Alex and Nicole, get high and talk about what they really think of Michelle.

In Spanish with English subtitles. An aside with Gus. As he rides the Ferris wheel on a cloudy day at the Santa Monica pier, we hear his thoughts while he figures out why he hasn't heard from Michelle.

Michelle musters up the courage to meet the cub from the online cougar dating site for drinks, but she finds out that he's nothing at all like his profile.

After a night of great sex at a fancy hotel in downtown Los Angeles, Gus brings up living together which launches them into a deep conversation about their age differences, their love for one another, and the tough decisions they must make.

Mark and Bob work for the company Michelle worked at for a decade. Meeting in their usual place, the parking garage at headquarters, Bob tells Mark that Alex invited him over for brunch in order to set him up with Michelle.

Following a line of coke, Joel, Alex's partner, tells Alex that his straight squash buddy, Bob, is at the door. While he continues to wait for Alex to join he, Michelle, and Gus in the dining room for brunch. Alex tells Bob that Michelle, his "blind date," showed up with her kid boyfriend, Gus, but Bob decides to stay anyway.

Following "Brunch," we go on a journey with Michelle, Gus, Alex, Joel, and Bob as each of them dives into their own late-night worlds following an uncomfortable afternoon together.
