The Best Of The Carol Burnett Show

You get two Carols for the price of one when Carol Channing guests! Ms. Channing joins up with Ms. Burnett for the Q&A, but they're at odds in a sketch about a golddigger out for an old man's money.

Tonight's guests: Nanette Fabray and Trini Lopez! Sketches include Carol and Nanette as a pair of precocious five year olds, and another episode of everyone's favorite soap opera, "As The Stomach Turns."

Guest star George Gobel joins Carol in a "V.I.P." interview of a Duke and Duchess living in squalor in New York, while Bobbie Gentry takes us on a musical journey.

Edie Adams and Tim Conway are Carol's guests this evening, highlighted with a sketch in which Tim and Carol are conventioneers double booked in a hotel room.

A pair of grand opera voices, in the form of Eileen Farrell and Marilyn Horne, join Carol tonight in an episode that features Harvey leading a "Fireside Chat" with the First Family.

Nancy Wilson and Mickey Rooney guest star in this episode, which features a meeting between incoming and outgoing First Ladies, an awkward audition, and the movie spoof "Kids Town."

Tim Conway is Carol's guest for a sketch where a betrothed couple elect to paint their future home--with messy results. And in "Carol & Sis", a nervous Carol waits up for Chris to return from a date.

Ken Berry and Shirley Jones drop in to join in the fun! On "Carol & Sis, Carol suffers under the lingering spell of a hypnotist. And in the latest "As The Stomach Turns", Shirley takes aim at Carol.

Carol's guests are Barbara McNair and Soupy Sales! Soupy and Carol play a pair of shoppers browsing samples of sexy cologne. And Barbara joins the gang in a big musical production number.

Guests Ronnie Schell and Vicki Carr take to the stage with stand-up and song (respectively)! Meanwhile, a touring star (Harvey) treads the boards in a play with a small town co-star in search of a bigger role.
