Ángel Díaz Torrado is at the inception of the story, seated in a prison cell, facing the reporter Julio Bocanegra that holds a tape recorder and a block notes. Ángel always stated that he wasn't guilty, that he had been unfairly judged and that the authorities had violated all his rights detaining him without letting any opportunity for his story to be known.
