When Diablo tests a new spell, he inadvertently rescues Lumachina, who thinks that he is God.

Diablo and his companions arrive in Zircon Tower City to seek the aid of Batutta. They soon find that relations between the church and the lord of the city have become tense, causing problems for the citizens.

Head Paladin Batutta is not as he initially seemed, and has kidnapped Rem and Lumachina. Diablo and Shera, with new ally Horn, set out to rescue their comrades.

On their way to obtain an item that can cure Death Knell Disease, Diablo and his crew are intercepted by Fanis.

Trouble stirs in the dungeon when Rem, Shera and Lumachina have a run-in with Gewalt—and a fearsome black dragon.

On their way back to the Royal Capitol, Diablo and his companions arrive in Faltra City, where a local bakery is tangled up in organized crime.

Diablo, along with his group, reach the Royal Capital, where they investigate the goings-on of the Church. However, they uncover more than they bargained for.

Lumachina is sentenced to death by Vishos. Meanwhile, Horn accidentally summons a tiny goddess named Babalon who says she can help her level up.

Vishos and Europa merge to attack the church as a single hulking monstrosity!
