After replacing the legendary Eric Clapton in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Peter went on to form Fleetwood Mac. Using extensive rare archive footage of live and studio performances, along with in depth interviews, the film traces his early success, drug use and spiral into schizophrenia. The film also examines how electroconvulsive therapy prolonged his illness and absence from the music scene.
