A middle-aged man, visiting his childhood town, is flooded with memories of first gay love. There, he meets the son of his secret teenage love, which sets off turbulent emotions as his mind is flooded with memories of their summer of love. The film contrasts the wintry present with the sun-splashed summer past when the shy, bespectacled Stéphane meets and falls for the rough and tumble Thomas.
