Two mysterious strangers begin to track George, Mitchell, and Annie. Not only do they want to find out more about werewolves, vampires, and ghosts, but they also have very definite ideas about what to do to them.

The trio all experience their own relationship issues: George argues with his girlfriend, Mitchell receives a visit from a troubled old friend, and Annie draws close to a man with a haunted past.

A now-single George helps Annie play Cupid. Mitchell gets more and more involved in the community of vampires.

With a new job and a new love interest, George begins to transform his life. Less easy to control are the other transformations that are a part of his other life.

As a romantic relationship deepens, Mitchell tests the dividing line between his human and vampire sides. Annie experiences maternal instincts when she is left holding the baby.

George gets caught in a lie, Annie gets involved with an underperforming psychic, and Mitchell gets betrayed.

Molly catches George in a lie, Annie aids a damaged psychic, a conflicted Lucy seriously betrays Mitchell and Kemp makes a bold strike at the vampires.

Mitchell vows revenge for the vampire deaths. An unexpected visitor returns with the promise of a cure for George. Annie receives an offer of help herself: a way to get to the other side.

Mitchell must save his friends from a macabre series of experiments. But he is so consumed with anger that George and Annie fear they will also have to save him.
