Joe and Angela report from San Francisco, taking advantage of a new direct flight from Dublin. Highlights include a seaplane flight over the Golden Gate Bridge, a GoCar Tour exploring the city's famous zig-zag streets, hunting out the world's best vintage shopping opportunities and the sealions at Pier 39. Joe also takes a short getaway to Clare Island off the west coast.

This week Joe and Angela are in Istria in northern Croatia to find out what's on offer. It's known as a beach destination and is gaining a reputation as a culinary hotspot. Angela also takes a short getaway to County Tyrone where she explores the Ulster American Folk Park, revs up rally driving and dresses up at the National Trust's Costume Collection at Springhill.

Joe and Angela take a city break in Krakow, Poland where they explore the markets and churches in the medieval Old Town, encounter a fire-breathing dragon, and visit the remarkable Salt Mines. Joe and Angela also consider the tragic history of the area with a tour of the Schindler Factory and a poignant journey to Auschwitz. Angela also takes a short getaway in her hired campervan, a vintage VW.

Joe and Angela report from the Balearic island of Majorca. They visit the beach in Santa Ponsa. Programme highlights include a helicopter ride over the coast, a scenic train journey to the upmarket resort of Soller and a yoga retreat at a Spanish mansion. Joe and Angela also visit an orange grove, see Palma's "cathedral of light" and pay homage to the island's pirate heritage.

Joe and Angela report from Tuscany in northern Italy. They take a tour of the city of Florence, famous for its art, history and culture. They journey by bike through the Tuscan hills, visit one of Chianti's vineyards, see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, explore Lucca, birthplace of the composer Puccini, and try their hand at what else, but pasta-making! Joe takes a short getaway to Kilkenny.

Joe and Angela are in Canada this week, reporting from Toronto. Angela tests her nerve on the CN Tower's Edgewalk and the duo take an exhilarating boat journey under the world-famous Niagara Falls. They visit the scenic Blue Mountain resort. And in this week's short getaway, Angela's in Newcastle, Co Down where she finds out why this area has huge holiday appeal.
