Savage Outdoors

Mike Stroff is headed to the Africa to hunt Cape Buffalo for the first time. This is the first of three episodes that Savage Outdoors crew filmed while being in Africa. Mark DeYoung from Vista Outdoor is on the first leg of this hunt with Mike and the guys are excited about the possibility of killing some Cape Buffalo.

Mike Stroff and the Savage Outdoors crew are still in Africa hunting with Jamy Traut Safaris. This is week two of the three week series the SO team filmed in Africa. The conditions have been a little wet and the guys were no prepared for all the water they were having to deal with just to get into the area where the buffalo were. Tough conditions but the guys are going to make it happen!

This is the third and final week the Savage Outdoors crew is hunting in Africa. After bring able to take two great buffalo and to start off some plains game hunting the guys are headed to a different camp further south in order to hunt more of the plains game species. The guys from Field and Stream have joined up with the SO crew.

Mike Stroff and Chris Ramsey are rifle hunting elk in CO this week during the rut! The guys are excited to have a rifle tag in hand when the bulls are screaming. Mike and Chris both are hunting an area that has one of the largest populations of elk in the country!

Mike Stroff and Uncle Randy are headed to hunt whitetails with the bow opening day with Big Sky Outfitters in eastern Montana. These early hunts always give you a chance at a whitetail buck with the bow. Mike and Randy are excited to finally get their whitetail season kicked off!

Mike Stroff is hunting in South Dakota with Western Ranch Outfitters with his bow for Whitetails and Mule Deer. This is one of the best locations in the country for seeing super high numbers of deer! Lots of big bucks and lots of action on this show!

Host Mike Stroff is on his way to Sask. Canada for a Black Bear hunt with his bow. Mike is able to locate some giant black bears and even a few color faze bears. This hunt would prove to be one of the best black bear hunts Mike has ever been on.

Mike Stroff and Jamie Satterfield are headed to the Brooks range to hunt Caribou, Grizzly Bear and Dall Sheep. This hunt is the adventure of a lifetime and they get to do it together. It is rare the guys get to do a hunt of this caliber together. Jamie is going for the Alaska slam!

Host Jamie Satterfield has already had an amazing hunt taking a Grizzly Bear and a caribou. He has a sheep tag in his pocket and the guys get flown into one of the prettiest places on earth to try to track down his first Dall sheep. Lets just say that Jamie has to make one of the longest shots of his life.

Mike Stroff is hunting in New Mexico with Fishtail ranch hoping to keep his lucky streak alive hunting elk the first week of the rifle season. This park of New Mexico has amazing numbers of elk. The guys just have to find a good bull and get within rifle range!

Host Mike Stroff and Jamie Satterfield are in Illinois for the first shotgun season with Uncle Randy. All three guys have shotgun tags and are hoping for a chance at a giant buck during this three day season. Bad weather is rolling in but it has some of the biggest bucks on the farm on their feet. Mike and Jamie are able to get opportunities at two Grigsby Farm giants.

This is our second episode in Illinois from shotgun season number one. Mike and Jamie were able to already fill their tags on some Grigsby Farm giants, but uncle randy still has his tag to fill. Randy is pushing it to the last minute on the last day of the season.

Host Mike Stroff is back hunting in Iowa lateseason with his muzzleloader at Coal Camp Outfitters. This is one of Mike's favorite hunts of the year. The weather is turning cold and the conditions are right to put the deer on the move. Mike and the guys have targeted one buck in particular that had been wounded the year before.

The entire Savage Outdoors crew is in SD ready to chase some whitetail and mule deer with their savage rifles. They are hunting with Western Ranch Outfitters and the guys all have had some great success here in the past. The next two weeks on Savage Outdoors there are some big SD bucks going down.

This is our second episode covering the first week of the SD rifle season. The entire SO crew is hunting with Western Ranch Outfitters and the deer are really on the move. Big Mule Deer and Whitetails are going down this week!

It is that time of year when the bucks are starting to really chase the does and the big bucks are starting show themselves in daylight hours. There is only one place the SO crew would want to be the week of halloween and that is at the Grigsby Farm in Illinois. Mike Stroff goes to his favorite stand on the farm for his first afternoon sit and one of the shooters on their hit list shows up.

Pro staffers Chris and Von Ramsey are hunting with K&K outfitters in Kansas. The Ramsey brothers have killed some great bucks with these guys over the years and this season isn't any different. They get on some great bucks during the bow and gun seasons with K&K.

Uncle Randy and Jamie both have their bow tags in their pockets because they were not able to kill a good buck in Illinois during the regular season. They both decided to wait until the weather got cold to head back to the Grigsby Farm. This decision really pays for Uncle Randy!
